The Special adviser to the Humanitarian Minister, Nneka Nkem has asked disengaged N-Power beneficiaries to summit their details to her. Nneka Nkem made this call on the 7th April 2021. This was in order to assist those beneficiaries who were unable to register their details on NASIMS Portal.
Remember, the N-Power A and B beneficiaries were disengaged last year around June/July 20201. The disengagement was made to give room for new intakes. The two batches of the NPower scheme had overstayed their provision of two years.
The N-Power program was initiated by the Buhari- led administration to assist in reducing unemployment, amongst the teaming Nigerian youths. The program was first grouped into 3 categories. These are the N-Health, N-Teach.and N-Agro.
Subsequently, when Batch B came on board, more categories were initiated. Amongst which are the N-Built, N-Tech and N-Creative. The beneficiaries were allocated to a monthly stipend of 30,000.
The amount given was served as stipends to assist the beneficiaries while on training. The program has various skills for acquisitions. The skills acquired was to built the beneficiaries to become self employed. And also to be more marketable in getting employment.
More than a 100,000 beneficiaries are now gainfully employed, courtesy of the businesses they created. They are now business owners and entrepreneurs. The remaining beneficiaries who are still unemployed, were asked to summit their details to the NASIMS Portal . It was to assist in giving out soft loans for them to start up a business.
Most of the disengaged beneficiaries had successful registered on the NASIMS Portal. Only a small minority, are yet to be registered. This is because some registered with a nonfucntional Gmail like Naj.com.
There had been various complaints from the disengaged beneficiaries. The Ministry of Humanitarian affairs, had also responded with various solutions. Count down to the closure of the portal and some beneficiaries are yet to register their details.
The Special Assistant to the Humanitarian Minster on media and publicity, has provided a solution. Nneka Nkem had tweeted on her twitter handle that beneficiaries who yet to register should do this.
The beneficiaries were enjoined by Nneka Nkem, to summit all their details through the following portal. She also warned them on not summiting their BVN. See tweets below and the link

Nneka Nkem also announced that about 8900 beneficiaries who were not given their 5 months arrears, have now been cleared. According to her an SMS had been sent to them. They should click on it for further instructions. See tweet below.
