It stated that arrangements is going on to conclude 2020 recruitment exercise that was halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. NPF/PSC Recruitment Commences
According to NPF/PSC, it is set to commence recruitment on the 18th of October 2021. As stated in the communique in the press release, the portal would be made open on that date stated above. In addition to that, the portal will run from 18th-26th October 2021. Precisely 8 days. After which exam is scheduled to take place from the 29th-30th October.
Furthermore, the Nigerian Police states that the recruitment process was a joint collaboration between the Nigerian Police Force and Police Service Commission (PSC).
Remember, the Buhari led administration had ordered for the recruitment of about 1000 Policemen and Women. This was in 2020. The recruitment was for the Police Constables who were to be recruited into the Nigerian Police Force. But due to Covid-19 pandemic, the recruitment had to be rescheduled.
How to Know If You Are Eligible For Exercise
It is easy to check your status on the portal. Hence candidates are required to check their recruitment status on the recruitment portal of the NPF. The portal is www.policerecruitment.gov.ng . The Nigerian Police Force promised that the portal will be opened from Monday, 18th through to Tuesday, 26th October, 2021.
However, those candidates who are qualified for the next stage of the recruitment exercise, will be required to print out their examination slip. Subsequently, the slips will be used as a pass for writing examination. It must also be presented on the Examination Date scheduled for Friday, 29th and Saturday, 30th October, 2021 at designated centres across the country. All successful candidates are equally advised to check their email and phone numbers for their notifications.
Don’t Be A Victim of Fraudsters Says NPF
The Nigerian Police Force has also warned candidates about fraudsters. It however advised candidates not to fall victims to fraudsters by giving out money. It also stated that the recruitment exercise is absolutely free of charge. And without any pecuniary obligation. It however, enjoins all candidates to call 08100004507 for further enquiries about the recruitment exercise.
In fact job scammers are everywhere within and outside the Police Force. Candidates who fall victims are made to pay from 500000- 5m. All in the name of securing a job security. Though Economic and Financial Crime Commission are scouting for the criminals and also arresting them. Many of the fraudsters are still out there at Large. Waiting for the next victim to defraud
